1994 454mag conversion to newer MPI???

I have a set of 454 mags, carbed. What would be involved with obtaining a set of used take off 454 mpi's and installing them on my motors? I know an electronic fuel pump would be needed and electrical, cpu redone.

Would the MPI intake manifold line up with the bolt patterns on my heads where the carb intake manifold sat?

Would the main harness plug right in?

My engines are rated at 350 hp, would the mpi's add a little horsepower along with easy turnkey startup and idling?

I had a mechanical fuel pump on my '97 454 Mag MPI. I think the carb and MPI harness IS different.
