Flywheel is same bolt pattern, different balance. Dont use it. I ordered a steel one from Chevy dealer, it works fine, make sure it is for the GenV-VI motor. I think I used everthing from my old 454 on the 502.. Matter of fact I am still using that style of equipment on my new Merlin block. My stuff was from an 88 454 mag.. so it may have changed as things got newer..
Hope that helps.. good luck with it..

A Gen 4 flywheel will have to be rebalanced to work on a gen V or 6 .Everything else should work.It may be cheaper to buy a new flywheel from GM.This one from SDPC would work

New flywheel
Seapump with fuel pump
The sea pump bracket will need a bushing in one hole to use the smaller bolt. This you can buy at h depot or true value hardware. Power steering pump/alt. bracket will bolt right up.
Caution>>>> Getting the belts to line up is a matter off moving the pulleys out just a tad, because the crank pulley on a gen6 is out a little farther. I've done this on two motors now.And the dust cover on the bottom of the bell housing will need to be cut a little to fit the one piece oil pan. Do this before it goes in!!!!!! You can use either starter on gen6
Then theres the oil filter adapter. The coupler is the same.
All in all a very minor mod

RE: the oil adapter
I read here somewhere that the oil adapter for a GenVI has a different checkvalve or something. Anybody know about this?
