Default Valve covers

I have L29 heads on gen 3 blocks. Just installed Harland Sharp roller rockers so I have to get taller valve covers. I have Stainless Marine manifolds. Will tall cast aluminum valve covers fit, these are the type that are not angled. I just orderd two sets

I believe they will hit the manifolds. And just an FYI, stay away from cheap import covers. When you go to weld breather tubes in them the aluminum in the Chinese covers pops, spits, and burns out. You can't weld them.

Thumbs up Re: Valve covers

I have same setup but small block and I had to put in 3/4" spacers on the exhaust manifolds to "JUST" clear the valve covers. I think I saw big block tapered valve covers at CP performance. Good luck.
