7.4l/454 engine problem
 

hi,

this is my first time here and i hope someone can help me out.
i have a 34foot italian speed boat(1994) with 2x330hp carb. 7.4liter mercruisers on bravo1's. one of my engines got ruined from salt water intake from the fuel tank. when i noticed it was too late. anyway, i need someone to advise me on what my options are since these engines are discontinued. do i need to change both engines,if so what should i replace them with, or can i install a 496/375hp with the 7.4l etc.....

I have a 7.4 MPI for sale. 330 HP
150 hours. It is a 1998 fuel injection model.
You could put the carb on.
I am pretty sure you will have to put the same horsepower rated engine back in.

how much for the engine, and is it simple to intall the carb or i can just leave it as is?
