best carbs for 454's
 

what are the best replacement carbs for non modified (stock)454's? are there any which would give better performance with modifying anything on the engine?

Spreadbore? Stick with your Qjet. No carb will increase performance without other changes to the engine.

I've got 2 stock Qjet off 454 mag, if you need to replace for some reason.

Sorry guys, I just saw this. They ran great last season on my 454 mags. I changed cams and got a deal on some slightly bigger Holleys. How about $75 each.

Don't mean to highjack the thread :D but,
I have a stock Qjet I took off last year
and a Edelbrock 1410 with about 25 hours on it.
I was going to put them on Ebay when I get back from vacation. If anyone is interested PM me.

I ended up spinning a bearing this spring, so I built a stroker motor and spend the cash for a SPEED DEMON carb that is why I have extra'a.
