need to know which exhast systems would suit best 454mag's does anyone have any experience with this application

What do you want to know?
Merc put Gil manifolds on a lot of 454s, they work very well. Stainless Marine makes a nice replacment. GLM makes an aluminum copy of the Merc manifold, it's a little cheaper and lighter than the Merc. You won't see much increase in speed just from a manifold change. But, as part of a perforamnce package(cam, carb, intake and exhaust), you can really wake up a 454 mag.

Yes, that is another one that I have always liked. Another is Lightning tubular headers.

You can find the revolution exhaust on ebay, usually go for about 50 bucks less than what you can get them on their website, polished set is a little more money.... look nice for the money...

If you are in saltwater, you may want to stay clear of all aluminum.
I got stainless marine... 5yr warranty. :D
