Vibration
Here's one for the drive experts one here. I hit one of those invisible skeg monsters a few weeks ago and he took a bite out of my skeg. I thought I got lucky and missed my labbed prop but I was wrong, it just got one ear ever so slightly. Well I got the skeg fixed and the prop back in order BUT I have a vibration from 1800 rpm to 2000 rpm. I feel nothing under that and nothing over it. When I drained the drive the magnet was clean. I did drive this thing for close to 50 miles after I broke the skeg.
Any ideas?

Re: Vibration
I don't have any experience on this topic, but if the propshaft was bent, would he have a continuous vibration throughout the rpm range??
In other applications, a shaft that is bent would blow vibration continually.
