Make sure your engine is tuned up correctly and its healthy. Make sure your 4 barrell carb is opening up all the way, and your timing is correct. While you are checking that out, ask some of the prop experts on this board if the props you have on your Volvo are correct. Give them all the info about the engine and boat. You may be over propped right now. See if you can get that engine turning about 4800 RPM. Keep us informed, and good luck.
