i know this motor was originally out of a truck and was marinized to Mercruisers 496 HO specs except for the cam.

My question is what is this long block worth. I am thinking of picking it up but do not really know too much about these motors except that it uses a computer for its ignition.

Any ideas, I am planning on trading my Polished TBS 250ci Blower, with Holley 1050 Dominator for this motor and an Arizona Speed marine Intake and Plenum plus some other miscellaneous EFI stuff plus a little cash.

Starting with the block, this engine was completely overhauled with new

components using only GENUINE GM PARTS.The only acception to this is the new

Competition Cams High Energy Camshaft (270 duration, 510 lift for monsterous

torque). All new cam, main and rod bearings, rings, oil pump, gaskets, heads

were re-worked and given a 3-angle valve job. This engine features a

crank-sensor (no distributor), multi-port fuel injection, hydraulic roller

camshaft, high flow heads
