What is the shaft diameter on a merc distributor?
 
I need to replace my gear with a bronze one for the roller cam and need to know what to buy.

MSD runs the .500 gear.all others are the .490

Alot of the late chev distributors have a .427" diameter shaft. Crane makes a bronze gear for those.

Alot of Chinese Bronze gears are floating around so buy your gear from a reputable company like MSD or such.
