Please Respond Thank's Mike I actually was begining to think Series 2000 was the one to beat...now I am back to saying Mobil-1 75W-90 is the one to beat. |
Re: Amsoil 75-80-90marinelube
Is the viscosity miss labeled? Isn't Mobil 1 the same rating. Thin

Re: Amsoil 75-80-90marinelube
put it in last nite, will let you know, it's also a gl-4/5 suppose to resist water alot better.

Bob did a test on several gearlubes including Amsoil Marine Gear Lube's ability to prevent rust from forming on gears in your drive using a "nail test. Most of the Marine Lubes have added emulsifiers and special RI additives to deal with water intrusion. What happened here? Take a big deep breath before you give up Mercury HP :D ....I am not gonna say a word. ;) left click to enlarge. |
