Anyone converted a 454 carb to an MPI??

I have twin 454 mag carbs and was thinking about finding a set of take off mpi's to replace the carbs with. Anyone ever done this?

Will the mpi's drop right on my motors?

Will the harness plug right in? Heard that the plugs might be different. Is this correct?

My motors are 350hp, will the mpi's take me up to the rated 385hp?

Main reason for doing this is ease of starting and possibly gaining a few ponies.

Your help is appreciated.
