resonable exhaust w/ sound choice
 

I am Looking to replace oem merc manifolds for better flowing manifolds and still be able to utilize the original sound choice switchable system. The goal is to take some weight off exhaust along with improving the flow without loosing access to plug changes 4 plug readings. I have 2x502's in a 1990 Bullet. I looked at the Imco Thumpers and the Revolutions but I don't believe they are sound choice compatable.
I would prefere to stay away (if possible) from CMI or Stelling only because I would like to divert the monies toward other needed expenses...such as better heads, fuel and lots of roses & gifts for my wonderful wife :D
my target h.p. 500+. with excellent idle.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use in my application?

We are looking at Stainless Marine. We have a single 454MAG with captain's choice exhaust and would like to keep it. Our goal is to achieve 500 crankshaft HP with modifications to the heads, exhaust, fuel delivery, cam, and reprogramming the ECU. We only have 10K to spend so CMI and Stellings are out.
