Oil thermostat

Does anyone know where I can get a Permacool oil thermostat #1070? I tried Summit, Jegs, Ramchargers; they're all out and say it'll take 2 weeks.

Thanks, I just called Permacool and they are back ordered. The water is warm right now so I'll just bypass it if I can't get another one.

One of my winter projects is to install oil thermostats. Can someone describe how the Permacools get plumbed. Also, what is the difference between those on Summit or Jegs and the Merc model (other than cost)? They seem to be very different designs. I am currently running bell housing coolers which seem to keep the oil too cool.
