FUEL COOLER 454mag?

Is the internals of a Fuel Cooler the same as a Oil Cooler and if you have a pic. looking it to it that would be great! Thanks

The one I used when I had a procharger was the same as a power steering cooler or a oil cooler for a 7.4.

As far as I can see the fuel cooler is different. It has a completely open area where water goes through. The fuel goes thru the inner and outter wall. On an oil cooler it has tubes all soldered in place, that keeps the oil and water seperate.

If your talking about the Mercruiser "Cool-Fuel" system fuel cooler, it is different than most oil coolers. Some other types of fuel coolers are more similar to oil coolers.

Not sure what your trying to do here, but if it is a Cool-Fuel system, the cooler is primarily intended to cool the fuel return and non-pressurized parts of the fuel system.

I don't have a picture looking into one, but the diagrams below should give you an idea of how it works.
