Baja 290 - Throttle Shifters & Speedo
 

I own a 1992 Baja 290 and would like to change the throttle controls. Anyone know of a good site to find some nice preowned?

I am also having no-read from my speedo, I blew air into the hose and got a reading, but none through the enigine. I have Bravo I's, Is there a way to clear the air intake hole in the lower unit?

To clear the speedo pickup, use a tiny drill bit and cordless drill at low speed. There is also a hose on the leading edge of the drive above the cavitaion plate that could be plugged.

E-bay for used stuff and ditch the old style speedo for a GPS unit. Any number of vendors here can sell you one of the GPS units. I have used Trick Marine and Triad Performance. Both are very reasonable on price.
