Boat leaking...can I seal gimble housing without removal??

I put the boat in the water yesterday that had been sitting for 2 years. When I put the boat in water was leaking in from the gimble housing (TRS Drives). Can I seal the spots until the end of the season without removing the whole assembly??? I don't want to have to pull the motors again just to fix this stupid leak. The gasket seems to be ok except for a couple of spots. How can I seal the spot to make it till the end of the season???

I agree check for rot. Tap the transom with a hammer if its hollow any where then you have the rot. i had it and now I have a new transom no more leaks

Thanks for the help guys. I don't think its transom rot, I tapped it and it didn't sound hollow. I seal it with some 5200 this afternoon and put it in tonight with no leaks. Happy about that, I just hope it lasts. Thanks for the help.
