TomCat..Do you have any cutomers with this system on a PQ 380? There isn't a whole lot of room in the engine compartment. I wish it was like other 38's where you can camp in the engine compartment. Those are impressive speed gains on the 35 lightning.

if you insist on a whipple , good luck , they are no longer availble at this time to the best of my knowlage , there is a pair of quad carbed engines in the classified section by old school..

Whipples are having a backorder problem. They should be available soon. Call Whipple direct and ask for Dustin. Tell him you're from OSO. Call 559-442-1261

Perfectmix: No one has done a boat like yours to my knowledge, but here is a picture of an installation in a Baja 250 (procharger conversion). If your seat backs are high like this, you may be able to fit the box under the top of the seat even if the seat is pushed back a lot. You need to get a tape measure in there.

open72: Mark is a thorough guy. We actually ended up with less HP after the tuning because we agreed it was safer to increase the fuel and reduce the timing a bit. 800 HP is quite enough on a production block. Rev limiter was set at 5600 RPM.

OPEN72--Not insistant on anything yet. Just weighing options right now. OldSchool's twin SC set up belongs right where it's at, in his CIG:D. My 38 PQ non-step is most likely never going to set any speed records, I'm just looking for a little more reliable pep. The Rtech looks and sounds like a nice set-up but room in the engine compartment is somewhat of an issue.

The engines are coming out this winter regardless, It would be a shame to reinstall bone stock:D
