torque specs
Im getting ready to drop my hp500 back in and was looking for any torque specs. I pulled the bravo drive also. Do the rear motor mounts have to be set at a specific torque, also any specs on the outdrive? thanks.

Re: torque specs
Rear mounts- neversieze on the threads and book calls for 35-40. I usually go 45.
Stern drive to bell housing nuts-50 lb. ft. Trim cylinder pins nuts-till they bottom out. Prop-55 minimum. |

Very true for in water apps. Been using it on the rear mount bolts on many boats since 1988, never had a problem. Fresh water. |

In Any Marine Application Including Fresh Water There Is Electrolysis Yes It Is More Prevalent Under Water But It Your Bellows Leaks Your Going To Have Water On Top Of Your Mount Bolts Ect Just Better Idea Not To Use Never Seal In A Marine Environment
