Easy way to get boat off trailer?
 

Hey guys- kind of a stupid question but does anyone have a cool trick to take a 30 foot boat off the trailer so I can rebuild the trailer? The boat has a blown motor and outdrive issues so is not water worthy at this time. Thanks :D

Bring it to a boat yard and have them put it on blocks. You need "yard arms" to do it right (and safe) yourself.

Welcome to the board. If you want to take the boat off yourself there is info in a thread "How to block a boat". Do a search on that or "cement blocks". Search is found at the right of the blue line above the advertisers logo. Drop the box down and type in whatever it is your searching for. Cement blocks brings up 5 or 6 threads the last of which is " how to block a boat" I used the info when I took my 24' boat off the trailer. Guys have taken much bigger boats off. Of course the key is don't rush and be careful.

well my boat is only a 18' Alot easier then a 30 :eek: Floorjacks, and a cherry picker... thats all i needed...
