Exhaust tubing hole

I was coming across the lake today and my starboard engine suddenly got really load. One of the 4" exhaust tubes blew a hole in it like it got really hot. My engine temps where fine, i didn;t know if there is anything else wrong or if the tube was just old and brittle. I will replace the tube but wanted to check if more should be looked at. Thanks

Re: Exhaust tubing hole

You may have a restriction in the manifold on that side. If that is the case, engine temp would still be ok because you still have flow out the other manifold. If there is no flow through the manifold/riser, it doesn't take long to burn up that hose.
