Guys,

I am going to redo my dash this winter and wanted to change the color. I have a 1990 Scarab Excel. The dash / console is black and is bolted in the boat. I would like to remove this and make it white it is now black fiberglass. Can I gel coat it white? Can you spray gel coat out of a regular HVLP gravity feed automotive spray gun? Does anyone know the process to do this?

Call or email me and I can set you up with a new panel. I fabricate new aluminum panels, can be powder coated almost any color you want with laser engraving. Cost for a Scarab will be around $200. I also supply Livorsi guages and can assemble and wire the dash with a factory plug so all you have to do is screw it in.

I've got the best prices on Livorsi guages along with many other performance products.

Did you ever come up with a templated for my 1986 Formula SR357 dash?

I'm still trying to make one with no luck.

I think we have one now. We've done a few Formulas this summer. I'll go back over my templates. I think I have a picture of yours here someplace. You might want to re-send it to help make my life a little easier.
