Transom Shower - Kits?

I want to install a Transom Shower for cleaning the salt off the body after a swim in the blue water. There must be kits for this which include the tank, pump, hose and fittings?
Thanks,
Terry

I think you'll find most are set up to plumb into existing pressure water systems.
You should be able to buy everything you need from west marine though.

Re: Transom Shower - Kits?

I added a transom shower to our bowrider/wakeboard boat. I use it all the time and it super nice to wash the salt off. I first bought a poly tank and was going to install in a storage compartment next to motor. Then I decided to use a fat sac cube (16" cube) that has water bed fittings. They are sold for wake board boat ballast. Nice thing about this is portable and I can remove it if I want to use the storage compartment for storage. I bought a scandix (sp?) shower head as I liked the style of it best. I used a sure-flow on demand pump. Make sure you buy an ignition protected one. I can post pics of the install if you want.

Picks would be nice . I am thinking about the install also.

Most of the ones I have seen have the round white plastic covers that look cheap. I wonder if ya could paint it to match the color of the boat so it want stand out so bad?

On mine most are mounted above the cleat.

Here are the pics of the shower install. Sorry it took so long, I have been outta town for work. The tank is a soft ballast tank they sell in wakeboard shops, it holds about 11 gallons and it was like 75 dollars.

Thanks for the pics.
I am looking todo the same for my 95 baja 272.
Would like to rinse off the salt water and some swimming also.
Can you post the link for hte pump and shower head.
I would have thought there would be a retail kit for this sort of item.
Thanks again
