idle mixture for dominator carbs
what should the base line be for # of turns out on the idle mixture screws? in is leaner correct?

Start at 1 1/2 on primaries, and about 3/4 on secondaries.

Are you sure? Is it a blower carb?
Anyway, I started 1 1/2 out ended up with abot 1 on primaries and less than 3/4 on secondaries.

single 1050 dominator on a n/a 577ci eng. just looking for a base line adj for the idle circuit mixture

1 1/4 turn out ea.........then use a vacum gauge

Tune for theb most vacum then go 1/4-1/2 turn richer. Motor should then start when its hot by just hitting key,Smitty
