What size carb for a Vortec 350?

Do I want a 600 cfm or a 750 cfm? I am looking at the Edelbrocks. Will I do better witha Holley?

I have had a edelbrock 600 cfm on a edelbrock airgap on my vortec 350 bored 30 over or 355 for a couple of years. I am happy with it. For the dollar it is an excellent setup. There might be better setups but the cost will be much more.

Some people hate the edelbrock or carter carb. Mine had been trouble free. It certainly is the least expensive carb out there.

600 cfm carb will supply all the air a 355 can pump in a marine application and then some. Too big a carb just causes tuning problems with no performance advantage.
