Bow Docking Lights

I was thinking of installing bow docking lights on my 32 Fountain Fever. I was wondering how many people out here have them and how do they like them. Are they effective? Do they give off lots of light? I am worried about cutting holes in my bow if they are not really effective.

I have them on my 35 EX. Thay actually work very good. They dont
seem to put out alot of light when you turn them on,but when you
get to the dock they really light it up....but I'm not so sure I love the
looks of them.

They are only good around the dock, personally I hated the ones on my old Baja. I wouldn't do it if I were you.

really depends on what you are planning on using them for, we have installed them on a few new boats they are great for docking illegal to use while running though as for effective I prefer hand held

Re: Bow Docking Lights

I have them on the inside tips of my cat, so that the right one shines to the left for docking, and left shines to the right. the work excellent for docking or coming in a channel, or navagating a small river at night. But are totally useless when on plane. Nice thing is that you can't see them mounted on the inside of the tunnel!!!
