Do you mean when you trim? I have that problem and will be watching this thread for a fix....

If you are talking about thew drives trimming at diffrent rates there are a couple of things that could cuase this. First is one or more trim clyinders bypassing internnaly. The easiest way to check it is to undo both lines from each clyinder and loop them to each take one clyinder off each drive and see if the drives falls overnight. The next night put the opposite clyinder on by itself and repeat the test, this will tell you if you have an internal leak. If you leave both clyincers on during the test and only one is bad then the good one will not allow the drive to fall. The other possibilty is that the two pumps are creating different pressure. You would need a guage to test this I forgett what the exact pressure should be but it's arounf 2000 PSI just to give you an idea of the guage you will need. I beleive the only way to adjust the pressure is to replace the relief valve which is what governs pressure. I may be wrong on that I think I remeber something about a way to adjust it.

maybe yours was as simple as mine, my port drive was getting slower than the starboard drive, I swapped trim pumps and the problem went to the other side, I removed the reservoir on the slow pump and found the two screens that go on the tubes were clogged, I removed both and cleaned them with carb cleaner and reinstalled them, put the pump back on with new fluid and now they travel at the same rate,

This is sometimes caused by the wiper ring inside the trim ram binding on the ram. Corrosion behind the seals creates drag. Simple fix to rebuild the rams.

I had the same problem with my drives and I did just what he suggested. You must eliminate the variables. Either try the remove lines and add line overnight deal. if not Then swop pumps.

Oh yeah I have seen what Zero patience happen also
you must remove the end cap to get at the wiper seal.
If you remove the cylinder and put it in a vice you should be able to manually move it with your hands.
