Mystery Part (bravo out drive)

Ok, I have this mystery part. It was on the cradle I had my out drive on. I have never seen this part till I was putting my out drive back it. It looks like a 3/8” brake line that is about 4” long with a flair on one end. No fitting, painted black. Is this from my out drive? Cant seem to find it listed on any parts break down.

That doesn't sound like anyhting I know of, if you could post a picture it would help alot.

Pin for the exhaust flapper from inside the Y pipe sometimes comes out when you remove the drive, or may even be inside the exhause cavity inside the drive.
Just a guess...
