Customers goal was to turn it 6800. Yeah it seems the high 6's is where jets seem to run. The engine is a 12.5 to 1 468CID BBC. It is a tunnel ram x 1050's over a set of extensively worked Canfields. Although the peak numbers of 820HP/679#/ft, what impresses me is the flat powerband out of a relatively small stroke engine. Should be a blast in an 18ft boat.
