SIGNZOO.COM -- Anybody Know this Company and Process?

www.signzoo.com had an ad in one of the magazines I picked up the Tampa Boat SHow. Looks they can "wrap" boats and it looks like a paint job.

Anybody know details about this stuff?

The painter that did some of the graphics on my boat was stuck in th 70's and I'd like the change them--this seems like a way to accomplisht that without redoing a 3 year old Imron paint job.

I'm in the design process right now. The guys at SignZoo have been good to work with and very helpful. I'll let you know how it goes when I'm finished.

What do you guys think?

Still playing with the design so the final price is pending. I'm hoping for something between 3000 and 3500. It depends if I get crazy with the deck...which I've just started.

I'm going with a die-cut instead of the full wrap. This reduces cost and is possible because the boat is white.

The process starts by sending them a picture and a brief description of what you'd like to see. They'll quickly turn it around which is a little rough but a good starting point. From there you fine tune until you're happy.

For my deck I wanted something with the boats name and a graphic. They sent me a picture with basic stuff and now we begin changing the font, size and placement of everything.

I'll follow-up latter with what I hope is the final edit.

Does the wrap have a matte finish? The one I saw had no gloss but did look good...also take a look at Racelinedigital.com, they have some cool designs and will custom them for you...also many different colors, mettalics to choose from...looks very close to paint...

Are the graffics colorfast near the fuel vent?

I once had a nice fade on my on my flames. The first time a little gas spit out my tank vent the fade was gone.

the few i have seen don't hold up as well as i thought they would... probably would have to redo it every year or so?
