What's a set of GM Rect. port head worth?
 

I'm now parting out my dead motor. Heads are fine. They are GM rect. port magnum heads. They have been cleaned up, not pollished per say, but cleaned up (little imperfections and bumps taken out of the combustion chambers and runners). I could make them available two ways:

Bear or

Assembled with Crane gold roller rockers.

What do you guys think? They are doing me no good, I could use the money, and I'm sure somebody somewhere needs a set of heads.

I also have a 454 gen 4 oil pan that Baker Engineering modified to 7 quarts, with anti-slosh (or whatever you call it) gate.

magnum intake manifold too....

I sold mine with springs, inconel valves set up for hy roller for 800 ps pocket ported also.

Mine have stock valves... so you think $500 is fair... delivered??

They could bring that $ AFTER they pass magnuflux. And then I would install Inconel or Super Alloy exhaust valves before using in ANY kind of hi-perf marine application. --- Jer

I recently sold sold a pair of 781 heads for 200 bucks.
Round port, open chamber - great street heads. Used, but in usable shape.
I don't think you are going to get much more than that.
Get the casting numbers and do a search at www.racingjunk.com in the used parts section. That should give you a good idea of what sellers are asking for similar heads.
