496HO Exhaust Mods
 
Besides removing the turbulator/restrictor plates are there any other mods that can improve the performance of the stock Mercruiser/Gil exhaust system?

Other than removing silencers in the tips (if equipped), none that I am currently aware of..

CMI 496 headers are all the way to go :D

You'll need to speak with Ray at Raylar. There is some general cleaning up (grinding) in some areas.
Evaluex, do have CMIs on your Nordic?

I was at the nordic factory last week placing new orders :D
I also ordered a new demo 28 heat 496 HO with the 496 HO CMI headers on it for our boat show in February
Will post speed numbers after testing peter
