Which Docking Lights are better?
They have 2 styles of docking lights. The telescope ones, and the fixed ones that mount in the front of the hull.
Which is better? Does any one use the built in ones that mount to the hule? I'm thinking of getting these..but I don't like the idea of cutting holes in my hull. http://www.overtons.com/graphics/pro...rge/23383L.jpg |

I definitely wouldn't do it unless it is absolutely necessary... |

Re: Which Docking Lights are better?
Mine came with docking lights, I've had the boat three years, and I have no idea how to turn them on. I wouldn't put them on either.

Re: Which Docking Lights are better?
They are useless.
If I had it to do over again I would never have ordered them. |
Re: Which Docking Lights are better?
THanks...well that settles that idea...it's very rare i need the light anyways.

Re: Which Docking Lights are better?
Having docking lights for many people is thinking it'scoolto have headlights to run going across the water.
Other than that, I've watched and I have several friends with them, and I can't see how in the world they do any good atthe dock. Hand held spot light. You move the light to see what you need to see, not the boat. :D |
Re: Which Docking Lights are better?
I think it's illegal to run with them on. At least in MD, I think it is. But anyways, yeah i have them and they are useless.
