Auto Meter GPS Speedo
 

I installed a Auto Meter GPS 120 MPH speedo and followed the directions to a tee. When I put on the key power it seemed to cycle thru the self diagnostic check ok. The needle would jump to the 12 (120) and then jump to the 1 (10). After approx 4 sec. the needle then jumps to the 4 (40) and stays in that position no matter how fast I travel, up or down in speed. I tried re-setting the clear / recall toggle switch but when the needle leaves the 4 and goes to the 1 position after about 4 secs, it jumps back to the 4. Help!!!

It sounds like the receiver is not picking up the satellite signal or you have the receiver hooked up incorrectly. If you need assistance in double checking your wiring, give me a call. 951-279-5005, Bob
