off shore water pick ups ?CMI headers ?

Will off shore pick ups help with oil temps and are there any gains to be expected else where. Also if I keep my boat im thinking about changing my gil offshore to CMI,s . I have 600hp 540s . Will this give me much of a power increase or is it a waste of cash ?

Offshore pickups will help if you have oil coolers other then stock merc.
as for cmis over gil dont know what gil exaust you have but you should see about a 10 - 15 hp gain with the cmis if you have the gil manifold type header

does the offshore pickups increse the water flow that much . I have the big 3 inch X 21 inch hardin coolers
