tie bar question

im putting new stainless marine gen 3's with 5 inch dry tails on my 35ft mistress when i install my blower motors and was thinking about running the exhaust thru transum instaed of over it but i have an internal tie bar as well as the external one what will removing the inner do? thx for any input, ratman

then your set...moving the exhaust on the inside my cramp it more for accessibility...

I thought the inner bars were removed when the external ones are used?????
