will different size props help me plane faster?

I have a triple engine boat and when full of fuel and people, it takes longer than I would like to plane. I am running 5 blade Hydromotive props 30p. Would a different prop help me? Also, would a drive spacer in the center drive make a difference?

Thanks,
Mat

Just talked to Julie at Throttle-up. She is so nice and helpful. She answered all my questions.

Thanks Julie!

A triple that won't plane fast enough? That's one of the best things about trips is that it's planing as soon as it's moving. What kind of boat and set-up do you have?

I believe he has a 46 Cigarette with triple Innovation 600's.

Very sweet engines!

My 40' Hustler was planing as soon as it was moving forward whether I had the Blackhawks or the Bravo 1s.

I always figured it was because of the weight of the center engine so far forward. Must be propped for all top-end like LostinBoston suggests.

BattleCry, you are right. My boat is a 46 Cig with trip 600 Innovations. This past August at Lake Lanier Poker run, we had 7 people, full of fuel and it took a little longer than I thought it should to plane. I have had my props repaired locally and Julie thinks I might need more cup?? We also agreed to boat with less people and fuel. :D :D I am going to send my props to her so she can take a look at them. Two of them were damaged and may not have been repaired properly. Thanks for all the feedback.

I never surveyed a boat with Innovation engines that wasn't stellar.
Those guys are awesome. I had a 312 Stinger many years ago that had a pair and the boat was a screamer.
