azimuth 1000 help
 

Does any body have a manual for one of these compasses?I no longer have mine and im having a problem.On the digital display about every five seconds or so it flashes (lo bat) which appears to be low battery!I dont think there is any kind of battery inside this unit but I could be wrong!Thats what i want to know!I removed the unit and the plugged it back in to my boats electrical system and nothing changed!Every time I flip the switch on the dash it gives me a heading,then 5 seconds later(lo bat)!If any body could help I would be greatful! THANKS

Your Azimuth compass is a KVH1000 most likley. Go to www.kvh.com and click on digital compasses than manuals. The full manual is there. I have sent them back for service before, no problem.
