Stinger, Just south of you in Bowling Green, we have a company called Quick Fuel Technologies. It is just down the street from Holley. Tyler Crockett uses them all the time. They put together some carbs for me for my blower motors that worked flawlessly. They test and calibate all their carbs on a motor. They are small and will make you happy. They are also cheaper that anything out there. Having said this, from 2nd hand knowledge you might need to contact Dean Nickerson. Carb set up in the box is a different animal, that someone with a lot of experience needs to handle. The carbs from him will be expensive, but most likely right, which means you might save a lot of time and money before all is said and done!

Talk to Nickerson (215) 781-1370. His personal boat engine has our Rtech Supercooler (intercooler and carb box in one) and a Vortech V-4 compressor. It's a 498 with GM iron heads and a solid roller cam, making 1013 HP @ 6100 RPM. Dean knows what you need.

Re: 950 procharger carb

thanks tomcat, we looked at the rtech system when getting the m3, but had to put our intercoolers in custom locations because the hatch was too short, and wanted to keep the sunpad. does anyone have a website for nickerson? thanks

Do whatever you have to do to get blown, that's what I say.

Try www.nickersonperformance.com

Just to clarify for other readers, the Rtech box is the same height as the Procharger carb box but it carries forward farther so you have to check the hatch clearance near the front of the engine, not just above the carb.

Re: 950 procharger carb

yeah, our problem was not just height, but it sticking forward...thanks for the link

Don't know that I'd agree with this statement. Different boxes will need to have the carburetor calibrated differently. Also, 375Stinger keep in mind two things, carburetor size requirements will be different for blow through vs. naturally aspirated, and a Holley 950 is smaller than a Holley 850 carburetor.

Re: 950 procharger carb

I'm not arguing the fact of blow thru useage...but I don't agree with pressurizing a whole carb in a box at 8psi and then tring to over come that with feeding it fuel.
What psi do you run the fuel at then?

You run the fuel in a direct proportional increase from base to boost. Stock pressure of 7.5 psi + boost gives you your total pressure.

Re: 950 procharger carb

Ok, Then how do you ramp the fuel psi up from idle/7.5 to lets say WOT/16?
Not arguing....just trying to learn something about this setup.
Thanks

You boost reference your fuel pressure regulator so that it increases the fuel pressure as the boost goes up.

Hi Doug: Just saw an ad for your blowthrough carb in Extreme Boats. More info on your website?

Hey, There should be a PDF on them in the new product section of our website. Are you going to be in Miami?
