454 magnum id
 

I just purchased an 87 Scarab 26 with a 454 mag in a basket. Is there a way to id the hp for this engine? Its got low dome pistons, steel crank, sq port heads and the hp block. The engine was removed for a spun brg, but one of the heads has had a seat replaced and there are stake marks around the outside of the seat. Is this an acceptable process for seat install on these?
