AN vs. JIC Flare Fittings

Are these two flares the same? In grainger you see all flares as JIC and then in the automotive world there are the AN fittings.

Point is you can get all SS fittings that are JIC whereas AN mostly come annodized aluminum.

Re: AN vs. JIC Flare Fittings

JIC and AN are the same. 37 degree.
SAE is the 45 degree that's different.

Re: AN vs. JIC Flare Fittings

Thank you.

Grainger has all the sizes of type 316 SS fittings in all angles and configurations. I boat in salt water and like to use SS where I can.
