:cool: I am breaking in my new baby! got one 496 ho running at 160 other at 190 (5hours on). Is 190 to hot? What should be top rpm on these. I been staying below 4000 ran it once up too 4500 for like 30 seconds (76 on the gps without trimming and drives all the way down) Any pointers would be appreciated OSO gods. ps anyone know what should be the sweet spot for the drives + tabs in calm water vs like 2 to 3 foot chop (stock bravo 1 props pitch 28 dia. 15 1/4) PS looking for headers before i get new props anyone got any info when merc gonna approve some without voiding warranty (been hearing romurs thier gonna) tx again

"sweet spot" depends on boat

they have 160 stats in them, if running at 190 you have some issues and shoud take to the dealer,

if running hos 5200-5400
