Alcone Motorsports

Hello, I'm a gas r/c boat hobbyist and need a little help. I'm currently building a 50 inch catamaran and its almost ready to go to the body shop for a paint job. In our hobby people frequently use paint scemes from real race team's boats. I wanted to use one that i have never seen on a r/c boat before so I decided on the Alcone Motorsports boat. Obviously the reason its not used is probably because the team doesn't exist anymore and pictures are not as plentiful. This has proven to be a problem for me too and the two or three pics I've found are really poor quality. I am hoping that somebody here can help either point me in the right direction or might have some pictures of the Alcone boat. I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer.

Zach

Bingo! Thats the one, US1! I have a sorta o.k. shot of the side but I couldn't see the deck graphics. Thank you a frikkin ton! I spent literally hours on the internet trying to find pics with little to show for it. I should just posted here first. That one shot is a huge help but if anybody else has anymore of the US1 boat could sure make it easier. If I even had an email address (at one point I thought I had one for the driver but didn't) for driver or builder or anybody, that would be great to. Thanks again guys!

Oh, sorry about that. I'm not sure how to post pictures for registered memebers to view. Anyone know how?

I guess I'll post them on my picture site listed in my signature. It will be under the motors section, page 3.

thanks again Saxman, i just went ahead and payed the fee. $20.00 is a small price to pay for this valuable resource. Plus, whats another $20 since the paint job will run me about $400. The shot of the bow is really good shot! That really helps me out. Thank you.

Figured its only right that I show you what I'm building. I'm sure most of you have seen these before. They are not the same as the more frequently (in the past) used nito-methane burners. These range from the low end 42 inches to more than 70 inches in length and are running in the 50-60mph range. Although, the record is around 114mph the last time i checked. They use purpose built marine 2stroke gasoline engines that range from 4-8hp per cylinder at around 16000 rpm. The cylinder displacement per cylinder is usually around 25cc. As you can imagine the two paint schemes I've posted are played out big time! Thats why I'm after the Alcone scheme.
