Looking for a new 5.7L engine. Where to Find?

Looking for either a remanufactured with warranty or new Mercrusier 350 Mag MPI 300 hp engine to replace my Mercruiser 260. Unfortunately I have have to stay around 300HP because I still use an Alpha Drive

Must be drop in/turn key.

Any website suggestions?

So far govictorymarine.com has made me an offer of $6,250 for an "SR" programed Merc Engine. 1 year full 2 year block warranty. Please let me know if this is a good deal or if I should continue looking.

great deal this mtr is brand new not rebuilt 310 hp crate mtr have installed several with no problems, has sheet metal,holly carb,fuel pump, and delco ign 3495.00 cant beat it

I bought two from 1800runsnew.com
If you are running open exhaust be SURE to check your plugs, they come set up for economy (2.5 power valve and small mains), so they will be lean in a performance application.
After that quick fix, I've been very happy with the way they run.
