bravo shift detent
I pulled rear cover off my b1 and (besides all the oil) a large ball bearing dropped out.
From looking at the diagrams, it appears to be part of the shift detent assy. Does the shift detent assy only include the steel ball and 2 springs that just fits in the cavity of the rear housing putting pressure against the shift arm base? Is this normal that the ball just sandwiches itself in there or am i missing someting here? Thanks |
Re: bravo shift detent
Yeah, you got the right idea.. Only thing is, I thought there was only one spring...maybe your's is broken??

Re: bravo shift detent
Gociggie31,
I looked in my Bravo manual. Thats the way it is. the newer bravos have what is called a ball canister not just a ball. Hope this helps. The manual only shows one spring. |
Re: bravo shift detent
there are 2 different springs, one small one and a larger one
Thanks |
