Tach question
 

When my tach is hooked up my boat will not start . I can unhook the ign wire and boat fires up . I have no tach anyway to test it to see if its fried or can i wire it up someother way to test functionality

If you aree connecting the grey wire to the "S" terminal which is signal and the purple wire to "I" for ignition and black to the "G" for ground, and it doesnt start? Sounds like you have a bad tach. Might be shorted out internally if its hooked up right.

that whati was afriad of anyway to bypass tach to tes tor anyway to test tach

You can try and hook it up to another engine or send it back to manufactuer and let them test it. If you know anyone with a good tach you could always try theres.
