Triples-my buddies warned me!
 

Just got my boat delivered(386 sonic w/triple 500's),one of the keys isn't powering up the gauges for that motor.The motor will start but no movement from any of the gauges off that key.The needles don't even flicker when you turn the key on(you know how at least the tach will flicker when you turn the key to on-nothing).No blown fuses, no loose wires...any thoughts???Boat was fine and after sitting this is happening,thanks for any input,Mike

Check the (purple?) 12v wire coming off that ignition switch that powers the gauges for that motor.

The good news is that whatever it is, it's almost certainly 1 thing that has shorted all your gauges, so check everything at the base/stem of the power supply to the gauges, somethign is choking them all off.

Check the ignition kill switch circuit for that engine.

Prolly a bad contact in the ign switch. corroded while sitting. as mentioned, check for 12v power at the purple wire from the switch.

Just want to let all of you know I found it...was a bad tether switch!I made sure it was connected properly but the switch itself was bad... got to take it out today!!!78 degrees in cny on L.Ontario!Thanks,Mike :drink:
