How about some pictures of the fitti ng and the set-up inside the boat. I might consider doing this myself instead of tapping into my cooling system like its set-up now.

This pick-up go's straight to a sea strainer then unrestricted thru the intercooler, the only time the intercooler is getting water is when your under way. Yes some people disagree with sea strainers but for the intercooler it is a must. Also with such a small amount of the pick-up in the water your chance of picking up something big is SMALL.

Warmest Regard Phil

Where do you get that fitting? I looks pretty easy to install, you counter sink the bolt holes and they go into some kind of bracket on the inside?

Available everywhere.......
Drop through pick-ups are commonly used on cats.

Re: Intercooler water supply

No bracket as the flange act as a strength and sealing surface.

Well looks like I have another project to do....... At least this one looks pretty easy and inexpensive, except for the seperate sea strainer. I guess it's pretty important for the intercooler not to be tapped into your cooling system?
