Gear Ratio?
 

What would you run on a 10,000 lb. step hull and why.I'm thinking of going from a max machine 1.50 turning a 32-34 4 blades mercs to Bmax 1.30 and not sure what the advantages would be if any.would i get better top end and loose low end and getting on plane.I hace 750 hp per side running 100mph now.Is the 1.30 harder on the motors or drives.
