You might try calling the manufacturer BAJA uses, Extreme Marine Products. They could advise the reason for failure and probably offer the best repair. 877/343-8247. www.xmpinc.com

The dealer ordered a new one for me, and I have to swap mine out with them.

My 29 Outlaw has 1/8" holes drilled in the bottom for drainage and never had a problem. Thing is......it came from the factory that way. Makes me wonder why yours didn't already have the holes drilled in them.

Me too. Mine is completely sealed all the way around, except for the split part.
